Interviewer: Good morning.

Aaron: Good morning.

Interviewer: We're sorry we made you wait for so long.

Aaron: No problem.

Interviewer: Please keep your phone on a stable surface so we can see your face.

Aaron: Yes.

Interviewer: Would you like to do the interview in English or Hindi?

Aaron: English is fine.

Interviewer: Great. We'll ask some basic questions about yourself and the programs you've completed. Which programs did you complete?

Aaron: I completed the Job Readiness Program and DigiAble.


Interviewer: Let's begin. Please introduce yourself.

Aaron: Hi, my name is Aaron D'Mello. I'm from Bangalore, Karnataka, but I was brought up in Mumbai. I completed my 10th grade at St. Francis High School, Goregaon West, and my 12th grade at Don Bosco Junior College, Goregaon West. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree at St. Andrew's College. I also completed a three-month internship at Aesthesis.

Interviewer: How was your experience during the internship?

Aaron: It was good.

Interviewer: What was your daily routine like before joining the training programs?

Aaron: Before joining the course, I was very hesitant and afraid to talk to people. I lacked confidence in communicating with others.

Interviewer: What is the biggest change you have seen in yourself after completing the course?

Aaron: My communication skills have improved significantly. My computer skills have also improved, and I am no longer afraid to interact with people.

Interviewer: What is the most valuable skill you learned?

Aaron: Communication skills. I learned how to speak confidently with others and interact more effectively. Through the DigiAble program, I also learned about AI and technology, and I continue to practice and improve these skills.

Interviewer: How has your use of technology changed?

Aaron: My use of technology has increased a lot. I use tools like Google Meet for meetings and AI tools such as ChatGPT and Google Gemini for learning and study purposes.

Interviewer: What would you say are your strengths now?

Aaron: My communication skills are one of my biggest strengths. Earlier, I was afraid to talk to people and found it difficult to communicate. Now I can confidently speak with people both inside and outside my community.

Interviewer: How did the Job Readiness Program help you?

Aaron: The Job Readiness Program helped me improve my time management skills. Before the program, I struggled with managing my time effectively.

Interviewer: What challenges did you face before joining the program?

Aaron: I found it difficult to study properly and communicate with people. These were some of the main challenges I faced.

Interviewer: Do you feel prepared for employment now?

Aaron: Yes. I completed a three-month internship where I called and interacted with candidates with disabilities (PWD candidates). That experience, along with the training programs, has prepared me for a job.

Interviewer: How would you describe your overall experience with the programs?

Aaron: My overall experience was very good. I learned many new skills, especially communication skills, and gained confidence in myself.
